It has already been a month since Animal Busters first greeted you through our global launch.

Thanks to your enthusiastic interest and support, our team has been able to dedicate ourselves to improving the game with great joy.

We would like to express our deepest gratitude to all the Commanders who have spent their valuable time playing and enjoying our game.

Our entire team is carefully reviewing every single piece of feedback sent through our various channels.

In this Developer’s Note, we would like to address the feedback shared through surveys and community discussions and outline the future direction of our upcoming updates.

[Reward Balance] 

Many Commanders have consistently shared feedback that the lack of resources during the growth phase hinders the enjoyment of progressing. While we initially adjusted the resource acquisition and consumption curves in the previous balance update, we deeply empathize with the fact that further improvements are still needed.

Accordingly, in upcoming updates, we plan to adjust the gap between online and offline idle rewards to align with our original design intent, thereby reducing the disparity in efficiency. Furthermore, to address the inconvenience of having to manually use items from the inventory, we intend to change the current "box/bundle" drop system to an "instant acquisition" system while increasing the overall acquisition amount. In line with the offline reward buff, the amount of growth resources obtained through bundle items and dungeons will also be increased.

In addition, considering the significant impact of gear farming on progression, we plan to improve the acquisition difficulty of "Exclusive Weapons" and "Legendary Gear." We are also reviewing plans to increase drop rates in Gear Dungeons and move up the acquisition timing of "Hero Exclusive Weapons" to help alleviate progression bottlenecks.

[Competitive Content Reward Buff & Hunting Dungeon Regular Season Launch] 

We have determined that the current reward structure in our competitive content—where your skills and strategies clash most intensely—does not provide a level of satisfaction that matches the effort and passion you have poured in.

Specifically, through data and feedback, we have identified that the sense of achievement is low compared to the time and resources invested in reaching the top ranks. Moreover, the motivation to pursue further growth feels insufficient for Commanders across all tiers. To restore the core fun of competition—challenge and achievement—we plan to implement the following improvements:

First, we will significantly increase the overall scale of season rewards. By providing rewards that match each Commander's efforts and achievements, we aim to create an environment where you can enjoy challenging yourself toward new goals every season. Furthermore, we will advance our matchmaking system to ensure fair competition based on skill.

Effective May 19, the "Hunting Dungeon" will conclude its Beta season and transition to a Regular Season. In the Regular Season, the reward system will change from the existing equal distribution method to a tiered reward system based on each Commander's performance and ranking.

As competitive content is the primary stage for showcasing your skills and strategy, we will continue to strengthen available rewards and improve matchmaking to ensure a more engaging experience.

[New Dungeons and Growth Content] 

To provide a more diverse range of enjoyment, we are currently developing a "New Dungeon" with a target release at the end of this month.

This dungeon is designed as a special experience that breaks away from the existing Animal Busters combat style, introducing entirely new rules and mechanics. We are completely redesigning both the systems and reward structures to offer a fresh tactical pace, allowing Commanders to step away from repetitive battles and rediscover the thrill of clearing content.

The rewards obtained through this dungeon will serve as the core resources for the new growth content: the "Talent Awakening System." The Talent Awakening System will allow you to further evolve the Busters you have affectionately collected and raised. We look forward to seeing you achieve even deeper strategic gameplay through this system.

[Faction Change System] 

As acknowledged in our April Developer's Note, we are aware of the inconvenience caused by the inability to change your faction once selected. Having concluded internal discussions regarding the process and cost structure for faction changes, we are currently in the implementation, testing, and verification phase. We are working to provide a faction transfer feature for our Commanders as soon as possible. 

[Regarding the Use of Unauthorized Programs] 

First and foremost, we sincerely apologize for the inconvenience many Commanders have experienced due to the use of unauthorized programs. Since the initial global launch, addressing unauthorized programs has been one of the most critical issues that our development team has been weightily considering. We are fully aware of the severity of the current situation and are not only strengthening our monitoring but also preparing systematic measures to prevent such activities.

We apologize once again to all the Commanders who have been affected, and we ask for your continued support as Animal Busters strives to create a fair and enjoyable gaming environment through consistent updates.

[Collaboration Event] 

As a surprise update not mentioned in our previous Developer’s Note, we are currently preparing a collaboration event to bring a new kind of excitement to our Commanders.

While it is still too early to reveal the specific partner, we are preparing for an encounter where guests from another universe join the Animal Busters, making your gameplay experience even more diverse. Please stay tuned for more details.
